    @LuisSepulvedaNY @GovKathyHochul While diversity here would be great, nominating an arch-conservative with a record like Lasalle’s is not the way to achieve the goal of getting away from national right-wing judicial kookery.       @LuisSepulvedaNY @GovKathyHochul I suspect what we’re seeing here is less the governor pivoting to Zeldin’s politics, but rather the usual dirty backroom factional deals that have always characterized New York politics. I doubt anyone involved in the nomination even asked about Lasalle’s kooky judicial politics.
