@rickhasen Pardon the legal realism, but this was a tactically absurd case to bring, even in April 2020. Did any serious person doubt the result, in light of the court’s prior partisan holdings? The only real defense is that at the time, these crazy new election laws weren’t a thing yet.On twitter.com

@rickhasen A tactically dumb vehicle on minor issues predating the current attempt to overturn future elections has really put our elections in peril. Vehicle, timing, and public perception matter much more than legal substance at SCOTUS, it seems to me.Permalink On twitter.com
