    @DavidAFrench I think the equivalent you’re looking for here is if California abused eminent domain laws to seize Walgreens locations, or imposed a tax on pharmacies that didn’t sell abortion pills nationwide. Instead, you’ve chosen silly both-aides nonsense than doesn’t survive a glance.

      @DavidAFrench Indeed, the Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that government speech (putting up statues, choosing to do business with a company), are totally different from viewpoint-based state retaliation that breaks with basic Constitutional protections.

        @DavidAFrench Incidentally, David does know better. He’s able to support anti-BDS laws vehemently, which rely on exactly this logic, where states can not do business with companies who they dislike without using the state as a bludgeon to trample equal protection.
