@kyledcheney I’m theory, it’s quite a bit more than that, since a plain-text reading of 2 U.S. Code § 194 (law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/2/194) creates a duty to bring the matter to a grand jury. In recent decades, the duty now amounts to a determination of where department interests/politics are.
