      @bendreyfuss The schtick is mocking the narrative and tone choices of the NYT Editorial and Politics sections, infamous for running with inane gimmicks, half-wit journalism, and wildly inappropriate both-sides coverage. Looking at their coverage of Tesla in 2018-20, he’s on point.

    @bendreyfuss This doesn’t appear to be a NYT Tech section thing, but he probably read one too many of the articles entitled along the lines of How Tesla is Changing How We Make Things. Also, half of his jokes end up in the actual paper in some form. It’s depressing really.
