      @EbThen @EFF This has been an unfortunate evolution not just with EFF, but others in this area. Their “civil liberties” position has evolved into a series of policy preferences that have nothing to do with liberties and everything to do with how they think technology should be governed.

    @EbThen @EFF I shouldn’t have to care what the EFF’s position of politics, free enterprise, or speech is, if they’re true to their mission. But as this piece makes all too clear, those are the only positions in play, with some Ron Paul-esque conception of “liberty” in the mix.
