  1. This is what I never understood. They say that the law must reflect a deeply held religious belief, but in a pluralist country, can neither account for the less strict notion (Judaism) or the more strict one (Jainism). Only one religion can rule they say. @IBexWeBex/1540372058470682624

      What’s wild is that SCOTUS essentially buys the point, ruling in Dunn v. Ray and Murphy v. Collier in ways that can only be interpreted as religious preference for civil rights. Really looking forward to the first non-Christian school in the Maine religious education lunacy.sigh
