      @kylegriffin1 @KevinMKruse It’s taken literal years for an exceedingly plain law to be enforced. Nothing good comes of this: 1-The executive branch can run out the clock on enforcement of any law or subpoena it doesn’t like. 2-Offices like the OLC are no better than politicians at deciding this.

    @kylegriffin1 @KevinMKruse Laws that can’t be enforced in reasonable time (ie before an administration runs its course) aren’t really laws anymore. Since our courts are unwilling to do more than fiddle at the edges, laws are now recommendations that bad-faith lawyers can disregard openly and at will.
