Reforms to planning, engineering/design practices, work rules, regulation, collective bargaining, and a whole lot else would at least get us to the UK/France level of value for money, which isn’t great but is better than anything we’ve got going for us now.Permalink On twitter.com

@DeLoach_NC @_dmoser I’ve think these bad policy choices exist because they violate the priors of our main parties. We need massive investment yes, but also a drastic reform of approval processes, complex regulation, protectionist policies, and interactions with unions/contractors. No one wants both.On twitter.com
