        @matthewferner @samswey They’re not unions, they’re militarized protection rackets that rob the public of an accountable, lawful police force under civilian control. In big cities especially, unionized forces are often in open defiance of the elected civilians who nominally control them.

Nominal civilian head of one of the largest armed forces on earth,and he can’t prevent open defiance, privacy/legal violations against his daughter,and calls for his overthrow from his own force. Instead, he’s cowed and made to defend something he deeply hates

    @matthewferner @samswey I despise DiBlasio for a lot of reasons, but I truly do feel for the guy, having to watch and read his compelled defenses of what @greg_doucette has showed us to be truly the indefensible. It’s like watching a hostage video, except the unions are posting the threats to Twitter.
