    @Eat_Your_Crooks A reminder that ALL the protests were unlawful assemblies at one level or another, lacking parade permits (perhaps waiting only for one cop to call it). So presumably you found detaining all the protestors in a system currently denying them writs of habeas corpus was acceptable?
