      1. I've never been one for swapping leadership in a crisis, but it's clear @NYCMayor needs to go.       Is it ideal to have to manage a police force that's the size of a nation's army where the billion-dollar unions like SBA routinely flout the law, going after your daughter for cheap political points and making regular veiled threats to overthrow civilian rule? Not at all.

    But DeBlasio cannot seem to thread the needle of condemning the routine unconscionable police abuses and illegality we see while also holding firm against disorder and looting. If he's not in control of these 38,000+ armed men, then who is?

      The next mayor will need to clean house at the NYPD. They've become useless for enforcing the laws we need them to, while simply running amok against their political quarry. Their unions should remember that collective bargaining is a privilege (by EO) for them, not a right.
