    @MalaikaJabali I’m not sure I agree with your take, but it’s subtle and reasonable. Which is the reason that it’s nearly impossible to find voters who back this narrative up. Hell, what we’ve got is the Obama/Trump voter who will vote for Trump again if Pete can’t give her M4A. People are nuts.

      @MalaikaJabali Is there a small group of committed party activists who grasp the nature of political change? Sure! But the public, as we’ve seen with Republican voters abandoning all their prior policy foundations, is at a certain point all about emotion and short-term gets. That’s it I think.
