    @Eat_Your_Crooks @JoeBorelliNYC Under the old system, everyone from 7 year olds to your grandmother were held on some ADA’s concept of retribution. Judges showed 0 discretion or independence. And if you’re so worried about bail, the city has an ample supply of armored personnel carriers and RPG’s for the job.

      @Eat_Your_Crooks @JoeBorelliNYC But this all elides the point here-that bail is not to be used as an expression for someone’s policy preferences about incarceration. Arguments about how horrible non-rich rapists are simply distract from serious points.
