@chrislhayes @KevinMKruse Trump wasn’t put in office to pursue any substantive policy. Certainly, his economic and foreign policies, cribbed from a liberal Democratic 1970’s platform, don’t have wide support in his own party. He was put in office to tear the country down and scare his base’s enemies.
